These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the provision of services by Boltsite (“we”, “us”, or “our”) to the Client (“you” or “your”). By purchasing any Boltsite service, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Definitions
Boltsite: The website design, development, hosting support, and optional advertising services provided by us.
Client: The individual or business purchasing Boltsite services.
Website: The website created and managed by Boltsite for the Client.
Basic Plan: The Boltsite website service.
Ads Plan: The optional advertising management service.
Boltsite + Ads: A combined plan including both the website and advertising services.
Enquiry: A genuine customer contact made through the website or associated channels (e.g., form submission, call, or message).
Agreement: These Terms and Conditions.
2. Services Provided
2.1 Boltsite (Website Service)
Boltsite will:
Design and develop a professional website tailored to your business.
Set up domain connection and hosting within the Wix platform.
Integrate enquiry forms and basic automations.
Provide ongoing monthly improvements and support during the active plan.
Offer reasonable assistance with website transfer after ownership is achieved.
2.2 Advertising Services (Bolt Ads)
Where included or purchased separately, Boltsite will:
Set up and manage Meta (Facebook and Instagram) advertising campaigns.
Optimise campaigns using industry best practices.
Direct traffic to the Client’s website or landing page.
Manage campaigns with an agreed daily or monthly advertising budget.
Boltsite does not guarantee specific results such as leads, sales, or return on investment.
3. Payment Terms
3.1 Website Plans
The Boltsite website service is provided on a 12-month payment plan.
The Client agrees to make 12 consecutive monthly payments.
Payments must be made via the agreed payment method.
Failure to make payments may result in suspension of services or the website.
3.2 Plan Changes
Clients may upgrade or downgrade between plans at any time.
Any changes to the plan do not remove the obligation to complete the 12 monthly payments required for website ownership.
3.3 Advertising Services
Advertising services may be included within a combined plan or purchased separately.
If purchased separately, the Ads Plan operates on a monthly rolling basis, cancelable with 30 days’ written notice.
Any agreed advertising spend (e.g., Meta ad budget) will be outlined prior to campaign launch.
4. Website Ownership
Boltsite retains ownership of the website until all 12 monthly payments have been successfully completed.
Upon completion of these payments, full ownership of the website transfers to the Client.
After ownership transfer, the Client may:
Continue working with Boltsite, maintaining hosting and support services; or
Take over the website, including responsibility for Wix hosting, domain fees, and any associated third-party costs.Boltsite will provide reasonable assistance with the transfer process upon request.
5. Six-Month Enquiry Guarantee
Boltsite guarantees that the Client’s website will generate at least one genuine customer enquiry within the first six (6) months of the Agreement.
If no genuine enquiry is received within this period, the Client may:
Terminate the Agreement early; and
Retain ownership of the website without the obligation to complete the remaining payments.
5.1 Conditions of the Guarantee
To qualify for this guarantee, the Client must:
Provide accurate and complete business information.
Approve website content and updates in a timely manner.
Respond to customer enquiries promptly.
Maintain active communication with Boltsite.
Not request suspension of services during the guarantee period.
Boltsite reserves the right to determine what constitutes a “genuine enquiry.”
6. Hosting and Third-Party Fees
During the 12-month payment period, hosting and platform setup are managed by Boltsite.
After ownership transfer, the Client becomes responsible for:
Wix hosting fees.
Domain registration and renewal.
Any additional third-party services.If the Client chooses to continue with Boltsite after ownership transfer, these services may remain included within an ongoing maintenance plan.
7. Client Responsibilities
The Client agrees to:
Provide accurate and timely information required for the website.
Ensure all provided content complies with applicable laws and regulations.
Maintain necessary business licences and insurance.
Respond to customer enquiries generated through the website.
Use the website and advertising services in a lawful and ethical manner.
8. Advertising Services (Bolt Ads)
8.1 Campaign Management
Boltsite will manage Meta advertising campaigns using best practices.
Campaigns will run with an agreed daily or monthly budget (e.g., £5 per day unless otherwise specified).
8.2 No Guaranteed Results
While Boltsite aims to generate enquiries and traffic, specific results such as sales, leads, or revenue cannot be guaranteed.
8.3 Ownership of Advertising Accounts
Where possible, advertising accounts will be created under the Client’s ownership.
If accounts are created under Boltsite, access will be provided upon request.
8.4 Cancellation of Ads Plan
Ads-only services may be cancelled with 30 days’ written notice.
For combined website and ads plans, cancelling the advertising component does not affect the obligation to complete the 12 website payments.
9. Suspension and Termination
9.1 By the Client
The Client may terminate the Agreement:
After completing the 12 monthly payments; or
Under the terms of the Six-Month Enquiry Guarantee.
9.2 By Boltsite
Boltsite reserves the right to suspend or terminate services if:
Payments are overdue.
The Client breaches these Terms and Conditions.
The Client engages in unlawful or abusive behaviour.
10. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property related to the website remains the property of Boltsite until ownership is transferred.
Upon transfer, the Client receives full rights to the website content, excluding any third-party licensed materials (e.g., stock images, fonts, or plugins subject to their own licences).
11. Limitation of Liability
Boltsite shall not be liable for:
Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities.
Indirect or consequential damages.
Search engine ranking fluctuations or advertising performance.The total liability of Boltsite shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client under this Agreement.
12. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential any sensitive business information shared during the course of the Agreement and not to disclose such information to third parties without prior consent, unless required by law.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
14. Amendments
Boltsite reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes. Continued use of the services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
